Big Business Idea LightbulbGood Peoples!

I’ve been talking to quite a number of friends over the past several months, who are interested in starting their own business.

More specifically, they have a business idea… but aren’t sure how to go from idea, to successful startup business.
Especially in terms of taking advantage of the Internet / Web 2.0 / Social Media.

Has anyone had this challenge?
If there’s enough demand, I might put together a webinar, or videos, to help folks.
Maybe even an interview series of Naija entrepreneurs or something…

You would be surprised, how many young Nigerians are DOING IT BIG online as well as offline, these days!
It’s pretty amazing…

What's Your Big IdeaSo what’s your big idea?

What great new startup, or business concept, would you create if you couldn’t possibly fail? :)
(Let’s suspend reality for a minute.)

Me – undoubtedly I would be creating Disney movies.
That’s been my passion since I was a kid. LOL!
I’m still holding on to that, oh!

Stay tuned for the first Disney movie starring a Naija Boy!
I think I will call it “TOUGH LIKE NIGERIAN HAIR…”
Either that, or “THE RETURN OF FADEYI OLORO JUNIOR”

(You are lavving.  Okay. Warn yourself.)

Speaking of cartoons, my guy Adamu Waziri of EVCL.tv is cooking up some unbelievable things in the world of Nigerian cartoon animation.

Meeeen, Naijas are trying.

But back to the subject.

What’s your big idea?

And what’s the roadblock that’s keeping you from doing it?

Here’s a post about making a list of what you want to GIVE, DO, and BE in this life… before you kick the bucket.

Hey thanks for the shout out. You are going to have some competition to make that cartoon! Or better yet you’ll have some collaboration possibilities. There a lot of us animators in Nigeria and in Diaspora making steps to bring Nigerian/African related cartoons for all ages to cinema screens right now. In fact I think there’s one out in Silverbird cinemas as we speak called ‘African Tales’ done by a Nigerian. Show your support for his business idea and go and see it so his company makes money employs people and does a better one.Animation is tough and ther aren’t many investors willing to support us. Also support us in our journey to produce one of the few toddler and preschool cartoon series from Nigeria for children all over the world. Check it out here . http://binoandfino.wordpress.com/ And of course keep supporting Naijas Most Incredible!! Adamu
