Naetochukwu Chikwe (born December 17, 1982), popularly known as Naeto C, is a prolific young rapper and producer. He was born in the United States, and is of Igbo origin.

Naeto C established himself as a creative poet in his youth.  Naeto C attended Atlantic Hall secondary school in  Lagos.  But after finishing his secondary education in Nigeria, he moved to the United States for higher education – ending up at George Washington University.  It was at this time that he met Uzikwendu and his brother, Ikechukwu, who was then an aspiring hip-hop artist in New York. They joined together to  form theWorld Famous Akademy.

Naeto C graduated in 2004 from the George Washington University with a B Sc. in Biology, intending to go study further and become a medical doctor. After some deep self-searching he changed his mind and decided to pursue his dream and develop his talent as a musician.He is currently pursuing a masters degree in oil and gas engineering at the University of Dundee.

Naeto C won “Best New Musician” at the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2008.  and followed that up with a “Video of the Year” award at the Channel O Music Video Awards 2009.
